Welcome to Teopancalli
A fresh start isn’t a new place, it’s a new mindset.
Teopancalli means mystical house in the Náhuatl indigenous language of Mexico. Teopancalli is a sacred space of spiritual health and healing. We nourish the transformation and evolution of human beings who are seeking a deeper spiritual connection with Mother Earth, the cosmos, our ancestors, each other, the world around them and the Divine. It is our honor to support you in every step of your spiritual healing journey.
Guided Ceremonies
Membership and a sincere belief in our Statement of Beliefs is required for all ceremonies. We carefully screen each member application to see if you resonate with us. If any questions arise regarding your application, we will schedule a call with you. Prior to your ceremony we ask you to take some time to begin establishing your mindset for your spiritual journey; willingness, trust, and surrender are all qualities of mind that leave space for profound changes.
One on One Ceremony
Educational information dietary instructions will be provided about our Sacred Sacrament days ahead in preparation prior to your ceremony. Time will be given time for the “Opening a safe space” for the guide and member get to know each other and form a trusting relationship, so the member can feel supported and at ease during the ceremony. The member receives our sacred sacrament to commune with the Divine. Integration and “Closing the container” will conclude the ceremony.
Private & Group Ceremony
Everything from the one-on-one ceremony applies here. The difference is a other members will be joining the ceremony. During the ceremony, members listen to a specially designed music and are asked to close their eyes to help them focus internally. Members are encouraged to discuss their experiences of the sacred ceremony. The goal is for members, with guidance from their guide, to generate their own insights and ideas from the experience to change unhelpful emotional and behavioral patterns. The sacred ceremonial experience typically lasts 6-8 hours. The guide is always present throughout the ceremony.
Initiate (microdose) Ceremony
This ceremony is designed for those members who want to join Teopancalli but want to know more about our Sacred Plant Teacher. We ask that you ingest a microdose of " Teonanácatl” or Flesh of the Gods as a symbolic gesture to commune with the Divine.
We welcome people of all faiths and religions. We encourage and nurture members to act boldly with love, kindness, humility, compassion, generosity, and respect towards ourselves, one another, our Sacred Plant Teacher, Mother Earth and the Divine.
We honor these ancient sacred healing traditions, beginning here in this state of California, in the United States of America and spreading out as far as the wind may carry the message, for as long as the trees grow and the rivers flow.
Cowles Mountain, San Diego CA
Niños Santos prove to you that there’s more than one way of seeing the world.
What to expect in a ceremony.
The Entry
An opening prayer will recited to Open the Sacred Space. Once the guide and the members are settled in their location with everything in place, our Sacred Sacrament is taken and the spiritual journey begins. It is time to surrender to the experience, however it may unfold.
Immersion
The second phase of the spiritual journey is the immersion, which is at the greatest intensity. Deeper dimensions and aspects of the psyche and unconscious reveal themselves in mysterious and unpredictable ways. The spiritual journeyer can feel intense emotions, see vivid images or hear images. The varieties of possible experience in this phase are infinite.
Reflection & Emergence
This is a time when insights are revealed and one begins to reflect upon the richness of what has taken place. These realizations are often felt as embodied truths, As we reflect on the myriad connections, we may experience overflowing gratitude. The emergence consists of the return back to normal reality. This phase keeps unfolding into the following days and weeks, as the experience begins to inform one’s day-to-day life.
“Heal yourself, with beautiful love, and always remember: you are the medicine.”
